The men’s basketball team won the World Cup, the men’s soccer team lost to Japan 4-1, and the German men’s soccer team was beaten by the men’s basketball team?

Source: Global Times

[Special correspondent of Global Times in Germany, Aoki, Special correspondent of Global Times, Li Jiayin] "This victory has eliminated some haze of the host of the 2024 European Championship." The Associated Press commented on the recent victory of the German men’s soccer team. On the 12th, the German team defeated the French team 2-1 in a friendly match, and goalkeeper Andrei Ter stegen said: "Now is the most difficult day for the team. We have proved that we can turn things around through victory. This victory has given us confidence." The "hardship" in stegen’s mouth not only refers to the fact that the team just lost its head coach, but also is an evaluation of the German football environment. "A victory and a tragedy were staged at the same time-the German national basketball team won the World Cup, and this achievement was sensational enough. But on the other hand, German men’s football coach Hans fleek left after being defeated by the Japanese team. " The evaluation of German "Daily Mirror" represents the views of mainstream German media, which has aroused public concern about the different fates of Germany’s "two big balls".

"Unbelievable shame"

The decision to fire fleek was widely welcomed, but the timing of the announcement by the German Football Association angered many people. According to the US "TA" website, German sports have recently gained a series of disappointing achievements-German men’s and women’s soccer teams failed to qualify for the World Cup group stage, and German track and field athletes failed to win medals at the Budapest World Championships. Against this background, the sensational victory of the men’s basketball team gave the German sports world a breathing space. However, the German Football Association also announced fleek’s class. Sports reporter Weinreich said: "For the German Football Association, this operation is an incredible shame. They should have announced it before the men’s basketball World Cup final, instead of distracting everyone when they celebrated winning the championship." Similar views are widely spread in the German public opinion field.

German men’s football coach Hans fleek, data map

As the host of the 2024 European Championship, German football is under great pressure. According to the website of Bavarian Football Factory in Germany, before the match against France, Gundogan admitted at a press conference that after learning that fleek was fired, the German team was in a mixed mood of sadness, frustration and disappointment. Fleek is always focused, active and energetic. Unfortunately, the German team failed to turn the advantages of the head coach into advantages. From the paper strength, Germany has a large number of outstanding talents, and most of the players play in the Champions League club. However, the team has never been able to solve the lineup problem-there is no suitable right striker and the defense line has been adjusted.

Constant adjustment and tossing became the "fuse" of fleek’s class. Fleek was successful in Bayern Munich. The formation of the team was very solid, and the best players were fixed in each position. Fleek made great efforts to establish effective communication with all the players and cultivate a united team culture together, so Bayern can keep winning. However, since he took over the German men’s soccer team, fleek’s working style has completely changed. He always seems to change his formation, adjust his tactics and try to use different players, making everything too complicated and the result is very bad.

"German virtue" was abandoned

After the failure of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 group match in 2022, the German Kicker claimed that the failure of German football originated from all levels, from the Football Association to the head coach. "Deutsche Welle" website said that the German team has no real center, and the number of people in the defense line changes frequently. fleek’s coaching has been criticized by many people. Reporter Jonathan Harding even said that the German team is no longer an elite team. In his view, the head coach is responsible for the failure of the German team, but the structure of German football, especially the youth training, is even more fatal.

The German Football Association has caused a heated debate on the reform of youth football. In order to stimulate the interest of primary school students in playing football, the German Football Association introduced a new standard of relative points in primary school. Little players don’t need to pay too much attention to goals and victories, but emphasize personal development. Hans Joachim Watzck, vice chairman of the German Football Association and CEO of Dortmund Club, expressed clear opposition to this: "If you don’t try to fail at the age of eight or nine, you will never find the strength to win. The new youth training method is completely wrong, but these people are still discussing games without goals. " Matthias sammer, a former German international, said in an interview with Sü ddeutsche Zeitung: "German football has given up the traditional’ German virtue’, that is, players are strong and strive for victory with outstanding performance in the game."

The secret of victory of German men’s basketball team

Compared with the men’s soccer teams in fleek and Germany, the German men’s basketball team and its Canadian head coach Gordon Herbert have set a new benchmark. Matthaeus, a famous German football player, said: "Look at the unity of the German basketball team and their head coach with great personality. Herbert’s control over the team surprised me very much." The website "Deutsche Welle" said that the German men’s basketball team won the championship by defeating the United States in the semi-final and Serbia in the final, and achieved great achievements that were once unimaginable.

The last time the German men’s basketball team reached the semi-finals of the World Cup was back in 2002. After winning the silver medal in the European Championship in 2005, the German men’s basketball team fell into a trough. Fei Molin, a former German men’s basketball player, said: "In the past, teams in the Bundesliga always had foreign aid (mainly), which resulted in the loss of two generations of German players. Now, the club pays more attention to providing opportunities for young local players, which is one of the reasons why we now have an excellent national team. "

With youth training as a guarantee, the German men’s basketball team began to pay attention to the long-term and sustainable team building. In 2021, Herbert took office. Under his leadership, the German men’s basketball team won the bronze medal in the European Championship in 2022. Fei Molin said that the secret of the success of the German men’s basketball team is to give the coaches and players trust and keep the team continuous. Among the players who won the bronze medal in the European Championship with Herbert last year, nine have set foot on this year’s World Cup. Herbert believes: "Without commitment, you can’t achieve your goals. Everyone always talks about achieving your goals, but first and foremost, everyone needs dedication and sacrifice. All players have made such commitments."

In this Men’s Basketball World Cup, Schroeder became the deserved leader of the German team, and his role was similar to Nowitzki’s. If Schroeder is not in good shape, how will the German men’s basketball team respond? In the game against Latvia, Schroeder felt cold, and he admitted after the game that "this was his worst game." But the Wagner brothers, Oberster and Timan stepped forward to help the team get through.

Fei Molin said that this is our best national team. Based on the continuous growth of reserve talents, Fei Molin is no longer worried about the obvious decline of the German men’s basketball team in the future. However, it may be a good choice for the German men’s soccer team, which is in the "head coach’s empty window", to return to the first-team teams and emulate the German men’s basketball team.

Random talk about football

Some people may be surprised that what is the charm of football? It can be popular with so many people, regardless of race and social status. There is a shady venue, 22 people grabbing the ball and shooting under the supervision of the referee, and occasionally taking risks to send some balls to their own goals … In fact, for non-football professionals, the fantastic terms of skills and tactics are too empty. It must be admitted that the long game time of more than 90 minutes.

I think fans should be divided into several categories:

(1) professional fans. They are either professionals in the field of football or take the study of football as a profession. The biggest feature of these people is to start with the details and understand the truth inside the industry.

(2) Amateur fans. They just watch and talk about the ball as a hobby, and they have their own jobs in their daily lives. They may play a few wild games with three or two friends during the holidays, which is very informal. But they did enrich the population of football.

(3) fans who only watch the ball. As the name implies, people who never play football or rarely play football, who are skilled or unskilled in various professional terms in the field of football, and who like to play football games instead of actual football experience, are in a sense hidden football population.

(4) fake fans. On weekdays, they don’t pay attention to football news at all. They like to follow the tide of public opinion and firmly grasp the most critical core information. They have a keen eye and insight into the basic quality of human nature, and they can pretend to be top experts in the industry most of the time.

Four kinds of fans are four kinds of people’s attitudes towards football, so I want to extend this topic: On the first day of last year, the national football team was defeated by the Vietnamese team in the top 12 competition with a score of one to three.

The national football team lost to Vietnam 1-3 on the first day of the New Year’s Day.

An embarrassing result. Losing to such powerful teams as Japan and Saudi Arabia can only be said to be reasonable and lacking. However, the Vietnamese team had suffered a seven-game losing streak before meeting the national football team in the second round. People gave it the nickname 007. Is it unreasonable to be defeated by such a team? I don’t think the strength of the national football team will degenerate to be crushed by the Vietnamese team. I mean, the off-site factors account for a greater proportion of this loss, and a series of performances on the field are only results rather than reasons.

Is it really that important for a team with such a level of national football not to enter the World Cup? I don’t think it matters. For three reasons:

(1) Chinese people are not keen on football. Does anyone around you often play football? Will you support your children to play football instead of taking the entrance examination? Where does your child want to find a coach to play football? Is there enough football field near your home? It seems that there are many fans in China who care about the development of football. In fact, most of them are fake fans and fans who only watch football. There are not many fans who are really keen on football. So the level of the national team will not be much higher. With such a mass base, what kind of good seeds do you expect its national team to have?

(2) Lack of respect for the rules of football and sportsmanship. As we all know, in order to achieve the goal of marching into FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in 2022, the Chinese Football Association of zhong spared no expense in planning a group of foreign players. Trying to use the planning players to drive the overall strength of the whole team, but on the other hand ignoring the development of basic youth training, the domestic league stopped. Reality slapped them hard, and the national football team defeated Vietnam in advance. It is unwise to get quick success and instant benefit. The foundation is not firmly built, and everything else is just castles in the air.

One of the important reasons why Chinese people are not suitable for playing football is that they are not United enough.

(3) Chinese people’s thinking and physical conditions are not suitable for football. Chinese people pay attention to being unprofitable and can’t afford to get up early, but football happens to be a team sport, which needs cooperation to play the best effect, and being willing to be a green leaf means losing money, which is obviously not in the interest of individuals. In fact, we may find that China’s good sports, such as table tennis, badminton, gymnastics and diving, are often played by one or two people, and it is rare for more than three people to work together. Have you ever seen six people playing table tennis on a case in a formal competition? Even in table tennis, players may feel that another person is in the way. No way, this is a kind of thinking concept, and it is difficult for Chinese people to play team projects well. Then someone will ask why women’s volleyball and women’s football are better than men’s volleyball and men’s football. In fact, I don’t understand this either. Maybe it’s the difference between men’s and women’s thinking. It’s really strange that our female compatriots are more United than their male compatriots. As for the physical condition of Chinese people, it is enough to compare Koreans instead of whites and blacks.

To sum up, football is not the best choice for Chinese people, so it is not particularly strange to lose to a national team like Vietnam, which attaches importance to following the rules of football. But I saw the chilling side after this game. Wu Xi, the captain of the national football team, inadvertently dodged the ball and was associated with abalone advertisements. For more than ten years, he worked hard for the national team and set an example for players on and off the court. Because he was guided by public opinion, he was nailed to their so-called shame column, which was not only absurd, but also evil.

Let’s put ourselves in the shoes. Perhaps these players have a sacred love for football since childhood, or they have chosen to enter the field of professional football with the dream of making a fortune, and have a young meal. (Many people complain that football players have high salaries and low ability, but who will notice their life after retirement? Football is a young meal. If you don’t earn enough money when you are young, will you continue to play football to support your family when you are old? ) Crush competitors, step by step to the top of the pyramid of top clubs, and become a leader in the domestic field. Then, if you lose to a stronger opponent in international competitions, you will be scolded as having no fighting spirit. Are they really not spelling? Lei Wu got a leg cramp in the match against the Australian team. How many people really care?

The national football team in the top 12 relied on Lei Wu’s penalty to draw the Australian team.

Luo Guofu, the planning player with the lowest score in the audience, was boasted as a national hero by public opinion because he flew to block a cross ball. Is it absurd? Luo Guofu’s nickname is Yue Fei, and Li Tie’s nickname is Qin Gui … It’s a slippery record. Such a public opinion environment is really invisible. After that, foreign players in poor condition appeared in the team, so there was no starting position. I work hard in the team, but it is better for foreigners who have not come to the joint training for several months to have a high status. Whose mind will be balanced, and the players who plan on the court are in poor condition, shouldn’t local players follow suit? Anyway, there has been an unfair phenomenon. Let’s just lose to the Vietnamese team, and no one can think about it … Sadly, China Football.

We shouldn’t expect any good news from China football in a short time, because it is totally divorced from reality. In fact, the greatest charm of football is not the skills and tactics on the court, but the fighting spirit of people and the complicated world outside the court. Football is a sport, more like a war. In the final analysis, it is a complete summary of human struggle, including tactics, art, strategy, strategy, diplomacy, humanities, geography, chemistry, socialization and humanity. It is the biggest insult to football if you only pay attention to the goals on the court and don’t care about the culture and beliefs inside and outside the court.

National football 0

In the 52nd minute, the Syrian team seized Zhang Linpeng’s mistake and made a counter-attack. Soma made a cross in front of the goal, and Samia, who was outflanked, scored an empty goal, but the goal was invalid because he was offside.

In the 59th minute, Kruma made a world wave with a long-range shot, and the national football team fell behind 0-1.

After the last 1-1 draw by Malaysia, the national football team once again fell into the whirlpool of public opinion.

The boos of the fans after the game, the shouts of "money back" at the scene, and the pictures of Zheng Zhi glaring at the fans all spread on social networks …

However, the national football team still shows no signs of rebounding. In the warm-up match against Syria on the evening of 12th, the national football team lost 0-1 at home, and will usher in the preliminaries in November with a record of one draw and one loss, and welcome the South Korean team and Thailand team.

What is even more embarrassing is that only 12,367 fans came to the Phoenix Mountain Stadium in Chengdu this game, only half of the last game …

Li Lei made a cross from the left and passed it directly to the opponent’s head coach Cooper …

Confidence in jankovic and Lei Wu

The result of the national football team’s last match against Malaysia was not satisfactory. The 1-1 draw did not meet the expectations of the fans, which also attracted some criticism from the outside world. Did coach jankovic feel the pressure?

However, jankovic said that he is more concerned about the technical and tactical level. "There are two opportunities at the last moment. Even if we grasp the victory, we can’t avoid the problem. These things are what I should be busy with."

"For me, the pressure is that I haven’t played for three years. Now I enjoy it. There will be no pressure in the football industry." Jankovic said.

Li Shuai was seriously injured in the last game, and his teammates held his jersey and entered the stadium.

In the first match against Malaysia, three players, Lin Liangming, Li Shuai and Gao Zhunyi, were injured, so jankovic made some adjustments to the starting players, and the tactical system was 3-4-1-2 at the beginning of the second half of the last game.

The goalkeepers are Yan Junling, three central defenders Zhang Linpeng, Jiang Guangtai and Wang Shenchao, wingers Sun Guowen and Li Lei, double-waist Li Ke partners Xin Xu, Xie Pengfei plays the front waist, and double forwards are Lei Wu and Daniel F. Akerson.

Lei Wu is in the game.

Before the game, Lei Wu was also asked about his role as a veteran in the team.

"Understanding what the fans expect of me, my position as a striker may be to score goals. In fact, the head coach stressed to us from the first day that defense is not the responsibility of the defensive players, and everyone needs to work hard. This is also the overall idea brought to us by the head coach. "

Lei Wu admits that all players in the national team now cherish the opportunity to play. "I hope I can lead young players, set a better example and play my role on the road to the World Cup. Not only on the court, but also in life, so that everyone can unite. "

The victim of the national football team

There is no shortage of stories in the last five confrontations between the national football team and Syria.

In the top 12 of the 2018 preliminaries, Gao Hongbo’s team lost to South Korea 2-3 away and drew Iran 0-0 at home. At this time, the outside world had great expectations for the national football team to beat Syria. As a result, it lost to the opponent 0-1 in Xi’ an. This game directly led to Gao Hongbo’s subsequent class …

The second leg of the match between the two sides was held in Malacca, Malaysia, and the national football team had to win in order to take the initiative in qualifying-Wu Xi’s post-insertion and Gao Lin’s penalty once helped the national football team to overtake the score 2-1, but in the last minute of injury time, Syrian central defender Saleh used a free kick to tie, and finally the national football team was 2 points away from the third place in the group.

Zhang Linpeng fought with his opponent.

Then in October, 2018, in Nanjing, the national football team played a warm-up match with Syria. Four days ago, the national football team held a 0-0 draw in Suzhou and India. As a result, the Syrian team was very embarrassed. Gao Lin’s long-range shot had no angle and strength, but the Syrian goalkeeper let the ball roll into the goal from his own hand, and finally the national football team won 2-0.

Coincidentally, in the 2022 preliminaries, the two sides met again in the top 40 stage.

The national football fans at the scene.

The first leg of the match was held in Dubai, and in the second half, Zhang Linpeng knocked Herribin’s cross into his own goal, and the national football team lost 1-2. Lippi angrily chose to resign after the game, and this press conference became one of the "black shots" in the history of China football.

In the second round match in Sharjah, the national football team won 3-1 and successfully qualified for the top 12.

Xin Xu tackles in the game.

How to play the preliminaries in this state?

In the World Cup Final 36, Syria is in a group with Japan and North Korea, so the Syrian team Cooper attaches great importance to the warm-up match against China-including goalkeeper Alama, attacking midfielder Mavas, high center Omar and other players who have played against the national football team many times in the past years.

Cooper said, "For me, the previous game experience with China is very valuable, and we also need to prepare for the preliminaries. What needs to be noted now is that the head coach and players in China have changed, which is very important information."

After the Syrian player scored, he made a celebration of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Judging from the content of this game, the Syrian team is actually not at its best, and the threat to the national football team is not as good as that of Malaysia in the last game.

However, they still controlled the game in the second half. A world wave broke the goal of the national football team and a goal was cancelled because of offside.

The attack of the national football team is still not improving, accompanied by many mistakes in the backcourt and Li Lei’s cross from the left, which was directly passed to the opponent’s head coach Cooper …

In this state, how should the national football team face the preliminaries in November? How to face South Korea and Thailand? All that remains is the unknown …

Cuju: the embryonic form of football

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in 2022, like a fire in winter, ignited the passion of fans who had been dormant for four years. Modern football originated in England, but as a sport, its embryonic form originated in China. In ancient China, there was a sport similar to a football match, which was cuju.

one

Cuju originated in barracks at first.

Kick, creep, and step (step). "Take a step against the foot." The words "Nie", "Ta" and "Tread" all mean stepping from top to bottom. Reverse pedaling is equivalent to kicking and jumping from bottom to top. Cuju is to kick the ball, but it is different from the current football kicking method. The main form of Cuju is actually to kick the ball, which is similar to kicking shuttlecock. It can be played by one person or by many people in formation, mainly from bottom to top to prevent the ball from landing. Of course, there are also competitions in which two teams are divided to kick the ball into the goal to win, similar to modern football matches.

It should be noted that there was another ancient ball game called "bow-beating", which had little to do with football, but was the prototype of polo and prevailed in the Tang Dynasty.

Cuju, written in different ways in ancient Chinese, is also called kicking, kicking, kicking, kicking, kicking and so on. The earliest ball is made of wool, so the ball is also called "wool pill", which is written as "cave" or "ball" Later, people filled skins with hair to make spheres, so the ball was written as "bow", which means a ball made of leather by bending. Guo Pu notes the cloud in "Three Cangs": "Mao Pills can make the performers bow." Inflatable rubber balls didn’t exist until the Tang and Song Dynasties. In the Tang Dynasty, Xu Jian and others compiled a comprehensive book "The Book of Beginners", which recorded: "In ancient times, it was tangled with wool, but now it is done with skin and cells (possibly animal bladders) as the lining, and it is done with a sigh of relief." "Toe" is related to the foot, mainly from the part of the human body that touches the ball.

According to Ji Yuan of Things, Cuju originated in the era of the Yellow Emperor and was originally invented to train soldiers in battle. Mawangdui’s silk book "Sixteen Classics" records that the Yellow Emperor defeated Chiyou and "filled his stomach and thought that he bowed, so that people could hold on to it, and those who were more rewarded". Liu Xiang said to Bielu: "Cuju players are rumored to have done what the Yellow Emperor did, or, from the time of the Warring States. When you are squatting, the military situation is also good. Therefore, when you practice samurai, you know how to be talented, and you practice it because of playing. " There are 25 pieces of Cuju among the thirteen military skill schools in Hanshu Yiwenzhi. It can be seen that Cuju originally originated from barracks, and it is probably a sport that soldiers play in their spare time during military training, which can relax their body and mind and also train teamwork. The original ball games were related to leather, which also confirmed this point. Because in ancient times, the closest contact and user of leather was soldiers, so "soldiers and leather" were connected in Chinese.

From the perspective of literature, Cuju first appeared in the Warring States Period. "Historical Records" and "Warring States Policy" both recorded the popularity of cuju in the State of Qi in the Warring States Period: "Linzi is very rich and real, and all its people play the lute, drum instruments, percussion, playing the piano, fighting cocks, walking dogs, six blogs and stumbling."

Cuju was popular in Han and Tang Dynasties, and reached its peak in Song Dynasty, forming a professional Cuju group called Qiyun Club or Round Club, similar to today’s football clubs. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Cuju gradually declined. For fear of being discouraged by playthings, Zhu Yuanzhang, the Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, once ordered officials and warriors to ban cuju, "kicking round, unloading feet", and even "bowing round kills nine families". Ming Xizong also ordered that folk football be prohibited. However, Cuju was not banned among the people, and there were still concluding works. The Ming Dynasty wrote "Cuju Atlas" and "Cuju Spectrum", which recorded the methods and rules of Cuju competition from the Tang and Song Dynasties to the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, as well as the forms and specifications of courts and goals. For example, there are ten ways to kick the ball, such as shoulder, back, turn, take, control, drag, hold, knee, racket and moon, and ten kinds of "no kicking tactics" which are not suitable for kicking the ball, such as "after drinking", "before the banquet", "under the muddy water" and "under the lamp and candle". These works also record more than 40 kinds of ball brands and more than 100 cuju clubs.

At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the Eight Banners also made it popular to play football at the grassroots level. However, in the Qing Dynasty, Shizu Shunzhi made an edict that "it is forbidden to play football immediately" on the grounds that "this dynasty always studies art, and its leisure time is related to book history". Emperor Qianlong even banned cuju on the grounds of gathering people to make trouble. Cuju inevitably declined under the official ban of the two dynasties.

Liu Taigong is not happy without the ball.

The literature recorded the popularity of Cuju in Qilu during the Warring States Period. After the King of Qin swept Liuhe, the troubled times at the end of Qin Dynasty and the struggle between Chu and Han, the tradition of Cuju was still not cut off among the people. By the time Liu Bang established the Han Dynasty, the world was reunified, and Cuju won the "endorsement" of Emperor Liu Taigong, the emperor fans like Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty and Wei Wudi emerged, and the general stars like Huo Qubing and Liang Ji emerged. Cuju was quite popular in the Han Dynasty.

The reason is probably that Cuju, a sport similar to fighting chickens and running dogs, is quite in line with the civilian characteristics of the Han Dynasty.

Liu Bang, the Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty, was the first commoner in history. He retained many characteristics of common scoundrels. For example, when Chu and Han were contending for food, Xiang Yu caught Liu Bang’s father, Liu Taigong, tied him to a high chopping board, and set up a big pot next to him. The water in the pot was boiling hot. Xiang Yu threatened Liu Bang to kill Liu Taigong like an animal and throw him into a pot to cook broth for the soldiers to satisfy their hunger. Liu bang had the cheek to say to Xiang Yu, you and I are brothers who become sworn brothers, and my dad is your dad. You have to cook your dad. If you are lucky, please share with me. Liu bang is such a rogue, but this rogue is a bully who can effectively restrain the aristocratic family.

Liu bang was born in a common town, and his father Liu Taigong was also a common man. Liu Taigong was the first real emperor’s father in history, Qin Zhuang Xiang Wang’s "emperor’s father" was sealed by Qin Shihuang, and Liu Taigong was the first emperor’s father who lived to enjoy the actual treatment. Liu Taigong "lay down" all the way to become the emperor’s father, entered the capital Chang ‘an (now Xi ‘an, Shaanxi Province) and settled in the magnificent palace, but he was unhappy. Liu Bang is a dutiful son. Seeing his father unhappy, he asked people around him to find out why. It turns out that Liu Taigong is not used to the life in big cities. According to "Miscellanies of Xijing", Liu Taigong "lived a good life, killing teenagers, selling cakes with wine, and fighting cocks for pleasure". He likes to associate with some butchers and vendors, and takes pleasure in selling wine, cakes, cockfighting and playing football. Now he is trapped in the deep palace and has no life.

After Liu learned about it, he ordered Wu Kuan, a craftsman, to build a new city in Liyi, modeled after Fengyi (now Fengxian, Jiangsu Province), a hometown of Pei County, and even the old temple of Fengyi was moved to the new city. When Liu was young, he once offered sacrifices to the God of Yuyu Society in the temple. The layout of streets and lanes and the scenery of utensils in the whole new town are all copied from the old ones, and even all the folks in Fengyi have been relocated easily. The hometown is full of elements, which can be called a replica of a hometown. After the men, women and children of Fengyi came to the new town together, they could recognize their houses at a glance when they walked in the streets, and even the chickens, ducks, dogs and sheep brought by the villagers were scattered on the road, so they could find their own homes.

When Liu Taigong arrived in the new town, he saw that the meat sellers, wine sellers and cake sellers in the city were old friends from his hometown. Besides, there were many recreational activities such as cockfighting and playing football, and he was still familiar with the street life, so he was really happy. In July, the tenth year of Emperor Gaozu (197 BC), Liu Taigong died. In memory of his father, Liu Bang renamed Liyi Xinfeng (now Xinfeng Street, Lintong District, Xi ‘an City, Shaanxi Province). Zhang Shoujie’s Historical Records of Justice in the Tang Dynasty quoted a cloud from Kuozhi: "The old city of Xinfeng is located in the southwest of Xinfeng County, Yongzhou, and the Xinfeng Palace in Han Dynasty." The reason for building the city is the same as that recorded in Xijing Miscellanies.

In Chinese, there is an idiom "Chicken and dog know the new wind" or "Chicken and dog know the new wind", which means that you can still be as familiar and happy in a foreign country as in your hometown. When Su Shi first arrived in Huizhou, he wrote a poem, including two lines, "It seems as if he had traveled in a dream, and he was glad to know the new scenery", expressing a feeling of deja vu and revisiting the old place.

three

Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and Cao Cao are "fans"

Cuju was endorsed by the Emperor Tai in the Han Dynasty, and was naturally deeply loved. According to the biography of Han Dong Fangshuo, Dong Yan, Toy Boy of Liu Piao, princess royal, was distinguished for a while, and no one dared to call him by his first name. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty regarded him as the "master". Dong Yan is famous all over the world, and the dogs, horses, cuju and swordsmen in the county are gathered in Dong Yan’s mansion like spokes on the hub.

Not only does Dong Yan like playing football, but Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty is also a "fan". Dong Yan often watches cockfighting, dog fighting, horse racing and cuju competitions with Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. When Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was happy to watch the game, he ordered Mei Gao, the son of Mei Cheng, to write a poem to record the game and the fun of watching it.

Huo Qubing, a general in title of generals in ancient times, likes playing football. He was successful as a teenager and showed no sympathy for foot soldiers. When he was fighting outside the Great Wall, the soldiers were hungry and listless, but he drew a stadium on the ground and played football.

Emperor Cheng of Han also likes to play football. The Miscellanies of Xijing records: "Emperor Cheng loves cuju, and the ministers take cuju as their labor, which is not suitable for the supreme." After the admonition of his ministers, Emperor Han became fond of playing chess with less exercise.

Liang Ji, a powerful minister in the Eastern Han Dynasty, was an all-around player in game sports, and playing football was also a sport he was proficient in. "The Biography of Liang Ji in the Later Han Dynasty" said, "(Liang) is addicted to alcohol, and can play full, play chess, play five or six games, play cuju and care for money."

Cao Cao also likes watching football. During the Jian ‘an period of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Tianshui Kong Guangui (the word Shu Lin) was good at playing football, and he loved flattery. Wei’s Spring and Autumn Annals called him "knowing the game, stumbling and bowing", "being proud without virtue, but getting rich without success", and Wei Lue called him "good at cuju, so Mao loved it, and he went in and out with followers every side". For this reason, Cao Pi and Wei Lue. (Cover journalist Wen Kanglin)

The Origin, Present Situation and Countermeasures of Football Development in Modern China

Liang Junqi and Ma Doucheng

Football originated in China. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, "Cuju" or "Collapse Ju" appeared. The earliest statement can be found in Qi Ce, the Warring States Policy: "Being rich is very blessed and real …… it collapses". In the Han Dynasty, cuju got a greater development due to the prosperity of social economy, which was almost empty, and cuju became the main sports activity of the court. Modern football originated in Scotland, and since it was introduced to China at the end of 19th century, it has been widely welcomed by Chinese people with its unique charm. Li Huitang, a player who was active in modern China football, was once rated as one of the "top five ball kings in the world" by an authoritative magazine in the Federal Republic of Germany. However, as football has become one of the most popular sports in China, the development of football in China has been ill-fated and has failed to live up to the support and love of Chinese people. Exploring the development history of football in China and putting forward targeted opinions and suggestions have certain reference significance for promoting the development of football in China.

1. Shanghai has become the birthplace of modern football in China.

When it comes to modern football in China, we can’t help but mention Shanghai. As the earliest gateway city to open concession in modern China, Shanghai was inhabited by westerners, with numerous church organizations, and was deeply influenced by the west in all aspects of social life. Therefore, it became one of the main windows for modern China to introduce western things, including sports, and was once known as "the cradle of China football" and "the important football town in the Far East", just after Hongkong. It can be said that Shanghai is the birthplace of modern football in China and the cradle of the development of modern football in China.

In 1848, when the Cambridge Rules, the first written rule of football, was born, Shanghai, known as the "ten-mile foreign field", was also influenced by missionary schools, which opened a new era of modern competitive sports in China. In November 1867, Shanghai Westerners established a football association, also called a football club, and formulated some football rules. Later, according to their respective units, they gradually split into different teams, such as navy football club, police football club and so on. However, Shanghai Football Club still undertakes the responsibility of leading and organizing all the western football clubs in Shanghai. At the end of 19th century, football was included in the teaching content of Westernization schools and missionary schools.

In 1895, St. John’s College established the first all-face of china football team in Shanghai. Although I dare not say that this is the first football team in China, it is also one of the early modern football teams in China, and it is known as the "St. John’s Braid Army". Shortly thereafter, Shanghai Nanyang College also set up its own football team. In 1902, the two schools imitated the football team competition between Oxford and Cambridge, and began to hold a series of competitions that could be recorded in the history of China. As a result, football became a popular sport in various famous universities in Shanghai at that time, and even major middle schools such as the famous Xuhui College became "trendsetters" in this "new sport".

In 1902, the Shanghai Football Association was founded (referred to as "Western Union") and began to hold the Scooter Cup. As the most influential football match in Shanghai that year, participants in the Scooter Cup are not allowed to have China teams or face of china. To this end, Shanghai students and the people jointly established the East China Inter-school Football League, in which soccer teams from eight schools participated. In order to fight against the Western Union, the All-China Sports Association was established in 1924, with Zhang Boling as the chairman and Wang Zhengting as the honorary president. In the same year, the Chinese Football Federation was established in Shanghai, which was a milestone in the development of modern Chinese football. Since then, with the holding of the national sports meeting and the national sub-regional football match, it indicates that football has gained extensive attention and gradually spread throughout the country.

Second, modern football in China went from glory to decline.

Football is an emotional sustenance and a historical inheritance. A philosopher once said: There are only two common languages of human beings, one is music and the other is football! As the "world’s first sport", football is very popular all over the world. Especially in some European and American countries, the level of football is relatively high, and the development of football and football industry is relatively mature. But little known is that the popularity of football in modern China is not inferior to that of today, and it represents the highest level in Asia at that time.

On the history of modern football development in China, Li Huitang is an unavoidable figure. In 1922, at the age of 17, Li Huitang was selected as the main striker of South China Team, the most famous football team in Hong Kong. In 1925, Li Huitang was invited to Shanghai to prepare for the Shanghai Lehua Football Team. In 1927, he led the team to win three championships, namely, the first-class tournament held by the Western Federation and the first-class tournament held by the Chinese Football Federation. Although they didn’t win the Scooter Cup, Li Huitang and Lehua football have already become the symbols of China football. In the 1920s, there was a saying in China: "It’s up to Mei Lanfang to watch the play and Li Huitang to watch the ball." In old China, it is really extraordinary that a football star can be compared with the name of Mei Lanfang, a master of Peking Opera. He won the title of "Asian Ball King" with tenacious struggle and superb skills. In 1976, an authoritative football magazine in the Federal Republic of Germany organized a selection campaign, and Li Huitang was named "the top five soccer kings in the world" along with Brazil Pele, England Matthews, Spain Stifano and Hungarian Serbs.

In 1924, the Football Association of the Republic of China was established, and China football was truly systematized and institutionalized. For the first time, a regular team representing the country’s foreign wars appeared. In 1924, it was also regarded as the founding year by the national football team, marking the beginning of football in China and becoming a standardized competition in China. Joining FIFA in 1931 also confirmed the recognition of China football by the international community. At that time, China football began to enter the "golden age" of strong development in Asia. Together with Li Huitang, the first groundbreaking pioneers emerged. From 1915 to 1934, China won nine consecutive championships in the Far East Games, and was shortlisted for the Olympic Games twice in 1936 and 1948. At this time, China football is a well-deserved overlord in Asia. Later, due to political and other reasons, there was a vacuum in the whole world football, and China football was no exception.

After the founding of New China, the China Football Association was established in 1955. After failing to hit the 1958 World Cup finals, it withdrew from FIFA. Then came the ten-year Cultural Revolution, when football was banned. After the reform and opening up, he rejoined FIFA in 1979. Since then, China failed in the 1982 World Cup finals. This is the first time that China’s football has been closed for a long time, and it has hit the World Cup qualifying right since it returned to FIFA. In essence, it is the beginning of the modern history of China’s football. Since 1976, China team has participated in the Asian Cup for nine times in a row, and reached the finals twice in 1984 and 2004, but both of them came back with a grudge. Their debut in the first World Cup was the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan, but they lost all three games and conceded 9 goals without scoring a goal.

1992 was the first year of football professionalization in China. The "Hongshankou Conference" held in June, 1992 was hailed as the Zunyi Conference of China Football. The conference decided to take professionalization as the breakthrough of football reform, and it was also supported by national leaders. In 1994, the first League A began, and China Football Year officially entered the professional road. After the end of the 2003 season, League A and League B were transformed into the first-class football leagues in chinese super league and China. Entering the 2002 China-Japan World Cup finals was the heyday of Japanese football. Since then, the achievements of the "National Brand" team have been lackluster, but Evergrande Football Club won the AFC Champions League twice in 2013 and 2015 respectively, saving some face for China football.

Revitalizing and developing football is the ardent expectation of the whole country, which is related to the physical and mental health of the masses and the cultivation of excellent culture, and is of great positive significance for building a sports power, promoting economic and social development and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. On March 16th, 2015, the highly anticipated Overall Plan for Football Reform and Development in China (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) was officially announced. As a programmatic document of China’s football reform and development, there are 50 reform measures in the plan, which can be called the most important reform in the history of new China football in terms of content and scale. It also means that China’s football reform has entered a "deep water area", and the future reform road has attracted more attention. In April 2016, the Medium-and Long-term Development Plan of China Football (2016-2050) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) was issued. The plan is divided into three periods: short-term, medium-term and long-term. In the near future, it is necessary to achieve the development goal of ensuring basic, strengthening grassroots and laying a foundation; In the medium term, it will achieve the development goal that China football is more dynamic, more energetic and more influential, and ranks among the top teams in the world; In the long run, it is necessary to achieve the goal of being a first-class football power, and China’s football will achieve all-round development.

If the Plan is the "program" of football reform and development in China and the Plan is the "goal" of football reform and development in China, the future development of football in China will usher in a clearer timetable and a clearer road map.

Third, it is a long way to go to realize the revitalization of football in China

Since China football has been concerned by the public, tragedy and tragedy have become synonymous with them. China men’s soccer team took part in international competitions and capsized several times at the last minute, and performed a series of "black three minutes", which seemed to be an insurmountable psychological barrier for the China team. "5.19 tragedy", "Irbid tragedy", "Golden State tragedy", Yangcheng tragedy, borhani’s humiliation, World Cup tragedy … have impacted the fragile hearts of China fans again and again. "If you are not happy, just watch the national football game!" "If you want to be in a bad mood, go and see the Super League!" ….. netizens commented like this.

Of the three big balls, only football was invented by China. At present, China men’s soccer team can only be regarded as a third-rate team in the world and a second-rate team in Asia. China is the birthplace of football, and now China’s backward football achievements and status are not commensurate with the status of the birthplace of football and China’s status as a big country in the world. Popularize football on a large scale, greatly improve the level of football, and make China a world football power, so as to match the historical and realistic status of this birthplace.

The second is to popularize football for all. At present, there are less than 7,000 young players registered by China Football Association, accounting for 1.4% and 1% of Japanese 600,000 and Spanish 620,000 respectively. There are 8,000 registered professional players, and the quarterly shortage of football population seriously affects the development of football in China. Popularizing football by the whole people and increasing the football population base will naturally increase the number of outstanding players. It is necessary to actively integrate into the top-level design, conscientiously implement the requirements of the "Program" and "Planning", and provide strong support for vigorously popularizing social football. It is necessary to increase financial input, extensively carry out mass amateur football leagues, and drive social football events to go deep into the masses. It is necessary to promote the construction of venues, improve the utilization rate of campus football fields, further improve the hardware facilities of football venues, and provide a strong guarantee for the extensive development of social football. It is necessary to solve the defects in the management system, solve the problem of backward system and mechanism, separate management from office, de-administer, and overcome the tendency of "pseudo-professionalism".

Third, we must strengthen the construction of the league. By other’s faults, wise men correct their own. The experience of European and American football powers tells us that high-level leagues are the only way for football development. League is the foundation of football development in China. Players of our national team are selected, improved and grown in the league. The progress of the national team cannot be separated from the healthy development of the league, which is the basis for the survival and development of the national team. League standards should be in line with international standards, adhere to openness and innovation, and constantly absorb and learn from international advanced experience to transform and upgrade the league level. League organization should be more scientific, and club construction should be more standardized and healthier. It is necessary to increase the construction of professional league culture and professional ethics, improve the all-round and three-dimensional supervision system of the football industry, and resolutely prevent the recurrence of problems such as "fake gambling". It is necessary to adhere to the principle of "football starts with dolls", promote the development of youth training from "quantity" to "quality", effectively improve the club’s own hematopoietic function, realize a virtuous circle and long-term sustainable development, and train and transport outstanding talents for the national team. It is necessary to enhance the awareness of the overall situation, jointly build a national team that can recruit good fighters and have a good style of work, and strive to achieve results that satisfy the broad masses of the people.
